Grassroots Advocacy Month 2026

This year's Grassroots Advocacy Month begins with a simple but powerful message: We Are All Family. 

The federal family extends far beyond current employees and retirees. It includes spouses, children, friends, neighbors, veterans, community leaders, and every American who depends on the dedicated public servants who keep our government running. Throughout the past year, we've seen people across the country stand with federal employees and retirees because they understand the vital role they play in serving the American people. 

Now it's our turn to build on that support. 

During the first week of Grassroots Advocacy Month, we encourage every NARFE member to help grow our advocacy family by sharing our message with the people around you. Invite your friends, family, neighbors, and community members to learn about the issues affecting the federal workforce and retirees and why they matter to all Americans. 

This year, we're asking Congress to:

After you've shared your message, come back to the FEDHub Grassroots Advocacy Month community and let us know how it went! Tell us about your outreach successes, share ideas that worked well, ask questions, or offer encouragement to fellow NARFE members. By learning from one another, we become stronger advocates together.
