When:  Jun 4, 2026 from 14:00 to 16:30 (ET)

NARFE Federal Benefits Institute presents

NARFE-hosted Microsites
Creating a Digital Culture,
One Webmaster at a Time

Thursday, June 4, 2026, 2:00 p.m. ET

The Microsites Working Group (MWG) of NARFE’s Configuration Advisory Board (CAB) is pleased to present an in-depth introduction to microsites. This webinar is directed to NARFE members, officers, and staff at every level to provide an understanding of the value of microsites, how to use them, and what they add to NARFE.

Microsites are NARFE-owned websites designed for chapters, federations, and regions, and managed by webmasters trained by the CAB-hosted MWG. Since 2023, about 200 NARFE members have taken webmaster training and developed over 100 microsites.

Each site provides a powerful way of attracting new members, engaging current members, learning digital skills, and developing new leaders. A standard template ensures sites are easy to navigate and simple to maintain. Successive webmasters receive structured training and flexible mentoring. Posts that are shareable on social media or by email announce NARFE meetings and events; menu tabs provide access to resources (documents, FAQs, links, and newsletters); and photo albums and contact forms ensure officers can be securely contacted. Learn how you can become trained as a webmaster or backup, and how to request a microsite for your chapter or federation.

A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Join us on Thursday, June 4, at 2:00 p.m. ET to learn to use NARFE-hosted microsites. Strengthen your technical and communication skills as you maximize your understanding of NARFE technology and what it provides for you and our association.
